Louis is a table that doesn’t strive for perfection — and that’s exactly where its strength lies. Made from solid oak with natural knots and cracks, it reveals the authenticity of the material without unnecessary embellishment.
In the construction of this rustic table, simplicity speaks for itself. The thick, substantial top rests on a solid base, emphasising its raw character. The brushed surface remains uneven, with visible traces of craftsmanship that give it honesty and a sense of truth.

Extension System
The extension system used in our tables adds extra leaves from the short edge of the top, with the wood grain continuing seamlessly from the main surface.
It is the most aesthetically refined solution. The additional leaves are shaped in a subtle, rounded form that follows the lines and proportions of the table. When extended, the grains connect into a single, coherent surface, creating the impression of one continuous top.
We avoid cutting the table through the center and we do not add any bulky structures underneath. This keeps the form light and preserves the clean, uninterrupted grain pattern even when the table is not extended.

Care tips
In order for the countertop to retain its beauty for years, it is worth remembering a few rules:
- Use coasters for hot and cold dishes
- Maintain a minimum distance of 1 m from heat sources (e.g. radiators)
- Take care of the humidity of the room - optimally 45- 60%
warranty
We provide a 2-year warranty for individual customers on all HOOM tables. The warranty covers defects in construction and material, with proper use in accordance with the instructions.

The beauty and rawness of wood are what define this table. We focused on showing nature in a different way than usual. This rustic oak table has many knots - larger than standard - along with cracks and natural imperfections.
All of them are fully finished, so there’s no need to worry about splinters; the surface feels smooth to the touch. Proper treatment of every groove and crack means you don’t have to worry about spills on the tabletop.

HOOM in real spaces
Our tables live in many different spaces and each interior reveals a new side of them. See how they shape the character of homes, apartments and restaurants.
